The Early Years Learning Framework is an essential tool employed by educators to shape our educational curriculum and guide the way we educate and involve children in their learning and skill development at Vale Village Childcare. This framework has a clear vision for children’s learning, with its foundation rooted in the delivery of high-quality learning and teaching experiences for children across all early childhood education and care centers. The framework places a strong emphasis on play-based learning and places great significance on language development, including early literacy and numeracy, as well as fostering children’s social and emotional growth. This vision is wholeheartedly embraced by our dedicated educators, who are ardent about implementing the framework in our service

Being
Living in the present and fully experiencing the current moment is a fundamental aspect of being. For youngsters, it is crucial to comprehend that they are embraced for their true selves and have individuals who genuinely care for them. Childhood is a period dedicated to play, exploration, establishing social bonds with peers, and enjoying oneself. When a child has a strong sense of being, they are able to foster and sustain relationships, actively engage in life's adventures, and become more equipped to tackle everyday obstacles.
Belonging
Belonging is crucial for children's well-being and development. It encompasses various aspects such as family, community, culture, and place. When children feel a strong sense of belonging, it fosters confidence, security, creativity, and a greater willingness to explore and learn.
Becoming
Becoming is the process of undergoing transformations through various life events and circumstances. A child's journey of becoming encompasses the changes they go through as they advance, acquire knowledge, and mature. At Kennedy Kids, our objective is to empower every child to take an active role in their own education. We strive to create an environment where they feel a strong sense of belonging and to assist them in their educational voyage.
